We came in during a very busy time with a big group and they were so accommodating trying to make space for us, it was so nice. Food, drinks, and service are always great too.
Came in for Trivia night few weeks ago, stayed for Naomi and those amazing drinks! She was super friendly and attentive, loved her personality! I wish I had her as my bartender everywhere I went. The food was good, the drinks were better, Naomi was best :)
This little pub located right next to the Glen Ridge Police Station is a quaint homage to the 1920's Decade. Adorning it's walls are photographs of a bygone era, of people who lived back then that are long gone, and baseball mits from the old local Glen Ridge baseball team who are with us no more. It is fascinating and bittersweet to stare at these photos as you sit in the atmospheric dining area wondering what kind of people they were. The whole place feels reminiscent of the dining establishments they had back in the Roaring Twenties, not overally tacky and garish, but a bit lowkey and somewhat muted in its decor and design. I happen to enjoy the mood and vibe of the place; it's not too loud or obnoxious. As for everything else: the meatloaf was pretty good and the service was excellent. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience!
We really like Fitzgeralds. The food is excellent. It is a great cozy pub/ restaurant atmosphere, and the attention by the owner and service staff was ideal.
This place is definitely a wonderful experience. Marissa was an excellent bartender she was kind, professional, and catering to me and my family. The server who attended to my mother and I was very attentive to all our needs. This is place I would really love to visit again.
Fitzgerald's truly values their customers. We and friends travel quite a distance to dine here and we gladly do so. The food is great and the service unbeatable. To give an example, we had reservations last Saturday night and we had been waiting about 5 minutes. Greg, one of the hosts, came to us, apologized for the wait and bought us a round of drinks. Do they care about their clientele ......they most assuredly do. We love this place!!
Naomi is the absolute BEST bartender!! Her energy and attention to detail is unmatched. Was there on St. Patrick's day and was beyond impressed with her diligence and ability to keep up with the workload she was dealt working by herself with a packed house. She made the experience so enjoyable was uncomfortable with how the man who was there temporarily helping was speaking and lashing out on her though. Other than his attitude it was a very pleasant time
